Here’s the finished ring I made from the lovely piece of English sea glass I posted yesterday. I love capturing these little beauties in sterling so that we can wear a little piece of the sea everyday….I gave the sterling a high polish, which I think contrasts nicely with the frosted glass. More to come….

This yummy freeform specimen of beach glass is now on its way to becoming a ring. I’ve built a sterling and fine silver bezel setting for it. Now just have to add the band, finish it and set the glass! Here’s a before shot of the glass in question, plus an I-hope inspiring shot of the Mediterranean I took off Capri this summer. The color of that water never fails to send me…

Here is the gorgeous beach glass I collected on a little pebble beach in Sorrento. If you squint your eyes and gaze upon them long enough, you start to feel you’re floating in the unbelievably clear, turquoise Mediterranean. Ahhhh…..Watch for them to be set in both polished and satin-finished sterling in the coming weeks…Image
